Anthony Plascencia is a career videographer, documentarian and artist. His interest in documentary work developed while working as a news reporter. He currently works as a multimedia and video producer for the Ventura County Star, based in Camarillo, California. In addition to hands-on production work, he also leads the company's multimedia training program, teaching traditional print journalists how to use the tools of today to make the transition to the journalism of tomorrow.

The film, which spans three years in the circus' journey, is scheduled to be released in the Summer of 2009.

Anthony is also a frequent contributor to Newsvideographer.com and Mediageeks.ning, offering critiques and insight into the art of digital storytelling.
